Documentary filmmaker Arwa Aburawa on board for The School of Hope

We’re delighted to announce that we have the awesomely talented Arwa Aburawa on board as artist for The School of Hope. Arwa is a documentary filmmaker and writer with an interest in social and environmental issues. She’s produced outstanding documentaries on a range of issues including the water crisis in Iran and the legacies of colonialism in Guatemala amongst many others.

She co-founded Other Cinemas, a community project which showcases the films and stories of Black and non-white people and also runs a small, informal collective of young filmmakers in her local neighbourhood.
